Who is The Salad Project?
My name is Sheila Murphy and I am an Ecologist with a farming background. I have numerous years experience as an Ecologist and an Environmental Educator in both the private and public sector.
The Salad Project started out as a personal project depicting my salad and vegetable growing adventure based in Co. Mayo and my urban back garden in Galway City. I believe growing and horticulture is an amazing way to connect with the environment, our personal well being and acknowledge where our food comes from.
It's something I'm very passionate about, love discussing and encouraging others to help find the same joy from gardening as I do.
